UTV Productions’ Shubh Vivah on Sony Entertainment Television is on a high with the lead protagonist Amrit (Eijaz Khan) getting killed by his own wife, Saroj (Neha Janpandit). With Saroj getting arrested for the murder, courtroom drama is all set to unfold in the show.
However, before the courtroom scenes take centre stage, Anoop Soni is reported to be making a cameo performance in the soap. We hear that the actor will be playing himself and will appear as the anchor of the show Crime Patrol Dastak (which is also aired on Sony Entertainment Television). With Saroj in jail, Anoop will be seen talking about the case and will be siding the accused (Saroj). He will talk about the manner in which the lady was being ill treated by her husband, and the way in which Amrit used to enjoy life with the other lady, Sarla (Aashka Goradia) that too in the presence of Saroj. He will be seen stating certain facts that will raise a doubt about whether Saroj is innocent.
We tried contacting Anoop Soni, but he remained unavailable.
When contacted Neha Janpandit who said, “Yes, I think Anoop Soni appears as the anchor of Crime Patrol. I am not sure though as we have not shot for it yet.”
Let’s wait and see whether Saroj is really innocent or not!!
