To be invited for Big B's birthday is a great honour: Saakshi

The Shehanshah of Bollywood turned 70 yesterday and on the eve of this special day, a grand party was thrown at the Film City Goregaon. The entire Bollywood fraternity was invited to celebrate this precious day in the life of the man of the millennium.

Saakshi Tanwar who gained immense popularity after portraying the character of Parvati in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and now playing Priya in Sony TV's Bade Acche Laggte Hai, was honoured to be invited at the Big B's birthday bash.

Tellybuzz contacted Saakshi to find out about her feeling of being a part of the party and she said, "To be invited for Mr. Bachchan's birthday is a great honour in itself. The celebration was befitting the icon, the legend and undoubtedly the uncrowned monarch of the entertainment world. What made the event 'a once in a lifetime opportunity' was Amitji's personal touch – receiving every guest with folded hands himself. Legends come in every few decades, but I present a special bow to the mighty man, to his regale stature and his humility. Here's wishing Mr. Bachchan many many golden years of his life."
