Hema Malini returns with a new TV show
Her last not-so-successful attempt on TV as a producer hasn't deterred yesteryear star Hema Malini a wee bit. The actress-turned-producer, whose last show Maati Ki Banno ended abruptly due to its abysmal performance, is back with a new project.
Malini's show is tipped to highlight the mother-daughter relationship and how it evolves with time. The mother in this show will have two daughters. The casting for the same is in process. Apparently, actress Rubina Dilaik of Chhoti Bahu fame was almost finalised but she opted out of the project to play a pivotal role in Saas Bina Sasuraal. The show, we hear, will launch on Sony Entertainment Television.
