Ram Kapoor is not going to die in Bade Acche Lagte Hain!

Sometime negative publicity works more for a project, like the news of Ram Kapoor quitting his very popular show Bade Acche Lagte Hain hogging the limelight from each corners of the nation. His fans were said to be constantly writing and requesting him on social micro-blogging sites not to walk out from the show till the end.

Well, seems the wishes have been granted, trustworthy source from the industry opines that Ram is not going to quit BALH, the death sequence shown in the promos have been introduced to grab more eyeballs and bring some excitement to the show. 

As shown in the promos, a crossover episode of-Kya Hua Tera Vaada and Bade Acche Lagte Hain will take place where Ram will be shot. This episode will mark high drama and drastic twists in both dailies, wherein audience will get to witness a major fight. The quarrel will take place in the party thrown by Rajat (Sameer Kochhar). Pradeep aka Pawan Shankar will also get shot during the fight and as it has already been reported he will die leading to a generation leap of 8-10 years on Kya Hua Tera Vaada.

Ram on the other end will battle to survive after being shot by a bullet. He will be seen fighting against death but will be cured in future episodes. Source from the industry confirmed the track and said, “Eventually, Ram will get cured and he will not quit the show. This track has been introduced to grab more eyeballs and bring some excitement to the show.”

Ram Kapoor to exit 'Bade Achche Lagte Hain'?

Actor Ram Kapoor is likely to leave popular show "Bade Acche Laggte Hai" in which he plays a rich businessman, say sources.

Ram, a known name on the small screen, is not the quintessential hero. His weight issues added to the charm of his character, also named Ram Kapoor in the show, which started as the story of a middle-aged mismatched couple who find love after an arranged marriage.

But a recent promo of a special episode, an integration of "Bade Achche Lagte Hain" and "Kya Huaa Tera Vaada", indicates Ram will be at the receiving end of a gunshot, and will be taken to a hospital. But doctors inform his family that they couldn't save him.

Asked about his rumoured exit from the show, Ram told us: "No comments."

When we contacted his wife, actress Gautami Kapoor, she too refused to give a direct comment.
However, a source told us: "Ram is leaving 'Bade Acche Lagte Hain'. Maybe he wants to concentrate only on his film career, that is why he is walking out of the show."

That could be a strong possibility considering the sudden barrage of films he has in his kitty. After featuring in films like "Udaan", "Agent Vinod" and "Student Of The Year", Ram will now be seen in Yash Raj Films' "Mere Dad Ki Maruti" as well as in Asha Bhosle's first acting project "Maaee".

The episode showing Ram being shot at by Anushka Sarkar, a character from "Kya Huaa Tera Vaada", will go on air Dec 4.

However, Ram's exit from "Bade Achche Lagte Hain" could be a big blow to the Ekta Kapoor show, which features actress Saakshi Tanwar as Ram's wife Priya.

The soap, which airs on Sony, is currently at a crucial juncture, considering an ongoing custody case between Ram and Priya for their daughter Pihu.

The show took a five-year leap earlier this year and completed a successful run of 300 episodes earlier this month.

Sweety to date Guddu in Parvarrish

DJ’s A Creative Unit’s Parvarrish’s plot, on Sony Entertainment Television, is currently focusing on Mr Bharat’s (Ashish Kaul) wife Mandira (Kamya Punjabi) and Sweety’s (Shewta Tiwari) family.

Viewers have already seen that Mandira is an old crush of Luckyji (Vivek Mushran). Naturally, Sweety is getting jealous about the entire thing.

The upcoming episodes will be all the more interesting.

Our source informs us that Sweety will show her husband Lucky that she is dating a guy called Guddu and she will flaunt her relationship with him in front of her husband and show Mandira and Lucky that she too has a boyfriend.

Okay, now we get you the spoiler who is Guddu.

He is none other than Sweety’s father Rajesh Singh Khanna, lovingly called Nanu (Rajesh Puri). In his want to help his daughter Sweety, he will disguise himself as Guddu.

Sometime later, Lucky and Mandira will learn about the entire incident and feel ashamed about themselves.

When we contacted Kamya Punjabi about the track, she said, “We are yet to shoot for many sequences and I have no clue as to what will happen. As of now Sweety and Mandira will just gel around very well.”

Ram and Priya (Sakshi Tanwar) are coming close due to their daughter Pihu's happiness. At the same time, Pihu's (Amrita Mukherjee) custody case is making them apart in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (BALH) on SONY TV.

Joyous moments with SET child artists

It’s been less than a few days to a week full of celebrations, a week which witnessed Diwali followed by Children’s Day. Sony Entertainment Television took an initiative to provide smile on the faces of some underprivileged kids this year. Child actors of Parvarrish & Kya Hua Tera Vaada visited The Pahadi Municipal School situated in Goregaon East (a suburb in Mumbai) which is managed by an NGO called TFI (Teach For India).

They surprised the pupil of class 4th by being a part of their Diwali and Children’s Day celebration. The prime focus of the activity was to imbibe a sense of companionship amongst the SET child artist and Std IV students of Students from the school who were eagerly awaiting their Diwali party were ecstatic to find out that this party would be attended by children who they watch on television shows.

The school students were extremely excited and thrilled to have prepared and perform a skit for the celebrity kids. Parvarish & KHTV artist were blown out of their mind with the performances and the talent which the kids displayed, the school children were appreciated and their efforts were highly praised.

The afternoon witnessed the children playing interactive games with great enthusiasm from SET child artists. Sony artists distributed goodies to the entire class and shared light moments with the Pahadi Muncipal school students which got a huge grin on their faces. Each student got their personal pens and diaries. The artist gave away special gift to best performers of the day…

In all it was a treat for the NGO kids to have one of the best Children's Day & Diwali celebrations.

Dr Rangnath and Anji to adopt Khushi in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge

Director's Kut Productions' Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, on Sony Entertainment Television, has just witnessed a Diwali bash sequence after which viewers saw Khushi running away from a railway station and fleeing to a dense forest leaving behind her mama and mami (maternal uncle and aunt).

The upcoming track will be all the more interesting.

Our source informs us that Khushi, while on the run, will reach Dr Rangnath(Vishal Malhotra) and Anji (Ishita Sharma)’s house. Anji who had a miscarriage will plan to adopt Khushi and keep her with them. Seconding her opinion would be Dr Nidhi (Kritika Kamra) and Dr Ashutosh (Sharad Kelkar).
When we contacted Kritika Kamra, she said, “The show is heading towards a very interesting track.”

This particular episode will be on air next week.

Child actor Amruta launches kids wear store in Delhi

Child actor Amruta Mukherjee, aka Pihu of the TV show Bade Acche Lagte Hain, was recently in the capital to launch the flagship store of Gron Stockholm, an organic children's wear brand, at DLF Saket. 

The little star was a little flustered by the media attention at first, but soon got into the groove when she saw the clothes on display. "I like the concept of the Gron Stockholm showroom as it has clothes which are organic. They are very soft and good for a child's skin," Amruta said, adding that the clothes are comfortable and stylish and suit her personality. 

When asked about coming to Delhi, the actor said, "This is my first visit to Delhi and mujhe yahaan aake bahut achha lag raha hai. After the event, I'll go to my bua's place in Gurgaon." 

Deepak Agarwal, MD of Gron, described organic cotton as cotton grown without the use of any chemical pesticides or fertilizers, or genetically modified cotton seeds. Therefore, he said, it is absolutely safe for the skin and the environment. They're bringing organic European brands like Geggamoja, MIJN, Bamboo Baby, etc, to the Indian market. The Gron stores are at DLF Place Saket and DLF Promenade in Delhi, and in DT Mega Mall, Golf Course Road, Gurgaon.

Samir Kochhar, who is seen in Bade Achhe Lagtey Hain on Sony Entertainment Television, talks about his role of Rajat Kapur in the show and the immense popularity he has attained.

Says Samir, “Well, I am so overwhelmed with the response that I have been getting from the people, I never thought it would be so popular. In fact, this is the first time that I am doing fiction show and am amazed by all the love and response that is being showered on me by my friends and fans. It was quite a challenging task to play between two great leads Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. That is the biggest gift for an actor, I believe.”

Talking of producer Ekta Kapoor, Samir avers, “Ekta is a good friend of mine and I thank her of believing in me and making me as important as Priya and Ram. WhileSakshi is a dear friend, Ram is a buddy. I feel this younger lot is very talented and it’s a great team to work with.”

When asked about his exit from the show he exclaims, “As of now, I don’t know about it. I am here to stay and help Priya. I know that my role will come to an end, but not now. I am not aware of the upcoming episodes, but yes, my upcoming movie is round the corner and I will start shooting for the same next year. May be, that would be the time when I will cut down on Bade Achhe…. But eventually, it will be Ekta’s and my call mutually."

Dipti Shrikant(Someya) is being replaced by Resha Konkar in Bade acche lagte hai

Bade Acche Lagte Hain airing on the channel Sonyhas been doing great till date and has even gone well after the leap that happened. The show that has been rising high on TRP has a small replacement in it which has created a little confusion among the stars. 

Somya aka Dipti Srikant who is playing the role of Rishab’s (Sunny Goraya) wife is being replaced byResha Konkar. This decision happened as Dipti signed a Marathi serial for Zee Marathi which was not taken in a good way by the production house of BALH and they decided to replace her. But it seems that Dipti is not aware of it till now.
Dipti said, “I am unaware about any such development all I know is that I am still a part of Bade Acche... I haven't received any official confirmation on this and even if the production house is planning to replace me I will respect their decision. I can understand that I am currently doing two shows and managing two shows at the same time often create problems. But there is no problem from my side.”

On the contrary Resha said, “I am extremely happy to be a part of a show like Bade Acche Lagte Hain and I am really looking forward to the show.”
